I remember seeing a track layer a few years ago when the train i was on broke in the Seirra Nevada mountains.

They had the digger part of that working on the tracks by 794 about a month ago. They cleaned up all the gravel around the tracks.

Another cool part is that the rail is delivered to the site by rail in 1/4 mile lengths.
