Rant: $75 for ALMS Road America tickets??

Thats just insane IMO for a ONE DAY ticket for Sunday at Elkhart Lake.

I love that track, but this is waaaay out of line.

Its a shame because these prices are hurting road racing in the US. Even loyal fans that go every year, like me, are just sick of it.

If they sold these tickets for $25 they would PACK the place, and sell more of everything.

yeah. ive never been to RA. always wanted to go and check it out but at those prices i will stay home. thats how the nascar race's were at the mile as well. started out on the cheeper end for season tickets, and every year they raised them.. we stay home one year with plans on going the next but it went under.... its a shame. every year we went you could see the crowds getting smaller and smaller

I used to go every year as well and was going to change some plans to go this year...but not for $75. Seriously I didn't realize it got that expensive.

If you buy at least a week in advance then it's $50. Still a lot, though.

60 bux is like the finals for an NHRA event .NHRA is bigger... So if ts fair for the NHRA (Its not) its fair for RA...NOT ...Thats why attandance is DOWN at NHRA ,, Im shure the same is for Road Racing ...KInd of pricy

I've got the Super Tickets for the event, I'm not sure if I'm going Saturday yet, but if I don't go you're welcome to them. Just not sure on plans yet.

Yeah, they are killing their attendance. I love the track and went to the AMA race every year. But at 150 a piece for the superticket and camping its just too damn expensive.

I got free tickets from my girlfriend's work last year. I really enjoyed it too. Did not know that they were that much!
