I think my A/C needs a charge. I've cleaned the radiator fins and there's a new air filter. Not sure what else to check. It's blowing slightly cool air and has to run all the time to barely keep up. I think I had it charged 3-4 years ago and it took a good amount a freon then. Not sure how often these things should be serviced or if I maybe have a small leak in the system.

Anyways, anyone who does this care to make a few bucks today?

if it was charged only a couple years ago, it shouldnt be low on charge already, unless of course you have a leak. When you say "cleaned the radiator fins", I assume you mean on the outdoor condenser? Do you hear the fan/motor on the condenser run?

I was able to remove close to 1.5 pounds of R-22 into my reclaimer and now the condensation from the drain is pouring out like it should. Before it was drip... drip... drip

The system should rock when its Hot as Hell out :thumbsup
