So I finally made it back to GLD tonight and here are the results.

The time was 8:35 pm. Still half way warm out. I checked the bottle pressure, looked good. went to get in line, where I should mention that it was absolutely dead tonight at GLD. I made at least 13 runs and could have made as many as I desired. So I finally get to the line and run a 13.219 @ 108.01 mph. Now this was my 9th run of the night. I was doing a lot of launch practices, and spraying the "naws" at different times. This run fealt better than any previous runs so I decided to go again. It is now 8:40 pm, I told you it was dead, and I am up again and this time things went great.

R/T .058 woohooo I was on top of things :rockwoot:
60' 2.199 I was running my street tires all night long.
1/8 8.514 @ 88.15 mph
1/4 12.976 @ 109.58 :banana :nitrous

I backed this run up with a 13.094 @ 107.99 mph.

After I install a line lock, a stall convertor, and a new rear end, still the stock posi from 1984, I will use the slicks and shoot for low 12's.

All in all it was a great night and I will post the video as soon as I get it from my freind.

Hmm, good times,

I guess I would've expected faster though after that run we had. Was that the full 150 shot?

it was the full 150 shot, but you have to remember I wasn't useing the slicks. so my 60' time's were terrible. 2.2 every time. the mph is good for a 12.0 in the quarter. so like I said when I get a converter I will go back and run again :)

was cool to get the phone call about the run. you were lighting up that tree on that run :)

but i think you are leaving alot on the table with the nitrous runs. What was the bottle pressure at anyways?

Thanks for the compliments to all..

The truck set up i sas follows.

1984 chevy C10. Stock 3:42 posi rear end, Stock TH400 trans, except for the shift kit. The engine used to be a stock 8.5 to 1 472 cadillac motor with headers and an edelbrock intake. I than added a NOS plate system with a 150 shot. That was good for my 13.2 last time. We got bored with this setup so we put in a 500 cadillac motor with a stock block, and rods except for the coated pistons, and the fully ported and polished shaft mount rocker cast heads with 8-5 to 1 compression. This motor made over 500 lbft of torque and almost 500 horses, at the motor. Plus I installed the 150 shot tickler. What I failed to realize is that with a bigger motor and more power the nitrous has a smaller effect. I am also running the basic MSD ignition, MSD timing retard box for the nitrous. When I put the 472 motor back in look for a larger nitrous set up and a line lock and a convertor and gears and whatever else I feal like doing, because eventually all of this stuff will go into a smaller and much lighter car. the truck weighs 4650 lbs with me in it. however with the current rust trends I am getting lighter by the day. :) So thank you all for your interest. I am sure I will see you all at or around oscars.

The lil racecar is possibly being sold to provide funds for the new lil racecar that I drove today. :) All will be explained in detail upon further developement. But I will say that it is a late 70's car that is rear wheel drive and weighs practically nothing at all. hmmmm cadillac motor.......
