couple pics from this weekends Nitrous Street Car Brawl event @ GLD. Didn't have a lot of luck shooting at night from so far away. Guess i need to work on my shooting from the stands skills. Anyway here are a few pics the rest are in the gallery to check out.

Nice pictures. I admittedly don't now much about these kinds of races, but what exactly qualifies as a "street car". I certainly wouldn't consider the majority of them to be street cars.

yeah, most (being probably 99%) of them are not street cars. Its just what the event has always been called.

NSCB I believe is one of the Best Events GLD offers, always a fun packed evening !!!

Plus Chicago Wise Guys have some heart pounding rides !!!

The Race Shop's 62 Imp is super cool!! It used to run a big cube W-motor....1644hp on the gun. Now runs a BBC

Shooting and panning at night is pretty challenging! Nice job for what you were working with!

you aint kiddin, add in the fact most of the shots are at 200mm as well adds one more thing into the mix. I dont make it out to enough races that run late enough and that im not shooting from the line. I do like shootin from the stands though its a bit more relaxing shooting at will and being able to get several pan shots instead of one launch shot.
