Anyone have some input on this TV? It is a Samsung UN55C6300 55-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV. Read some good reviews but was wondering if anyone on here had some first hand input on this.

My parents got the same thing, except in the 42". It is really nice. We watched the Avatar on Blue Ray and it was amazing. My Dad and I both could not belive the depth of the picture. I have a Samsung 30" tube tv and the picture on that is good. My friend has a 68" Plasma TV and that has an amazing picture. I think I am pretty much sold on Samsung Brand TV's. How ever my parents LED put them all to shame. I would say go for it.

The LEDs are awesome. Plus they use barely any power!

If there plasma's are any clue to the quality of the LEDs they should be great. I spent weeks looking at tv's and love my Samy Plasma, just incredible picture strait off time warner HD channels and unbelievable on Blu Ray.

You cant go wrong with Samsung TVs, I love my LCD, but wish I held out for the LED.

Don't get that one. Get the new Sharp LED. It uses 4 color LED's instead of three color. The difference is huge. I just got the 60" It is amazing. If you look at them side by side the skin tones and wood grains and purples look so much better. Way more realistic. Definitly go for the 4 color.

I understand what your saying about the four color, but it is also $400 more than what I can get the Samsumg for also. Unless I can get it for a killer deal I would have to pass on it. I will keep it inmind though.

It to me would be worth an extra $600. I would wait and save.

I would probably spend the extra money. When you are already spending over 1K on a tv whats another 400. I have a samsung lcd and it has a great picture I cant imagine what the LED would look like.

Well the things is that I still need a Blu-ray and the fact that I am still in the process of rebuilding the house from the tornado. Insurance is doing great and covering a lot but this out of my pocket. I have been looking around to see what is out there. I will probably make my decision when I know all of the details at the end of the house project. Gonna keep looking around so pleasse keep the opinions and options coming.

I think he is thinking of a DLP, not an LCD with a LED backlight.

Sharp LC - 60LE820UN

Not a projection. It's about an inch thick. I think it looks better than the plasma I have.

Well my thoughts are with all that is getting replaced and fixed up at the house it will be pretty much like new. The kithen counter tops I would love to replace with some solid surface ones. So for the most part the house would be mostly done and upto date in all of the rooms. I already have a 55" HDTV so I don't have to have one but, with the new surround and furniture I am going to have a "Theater room". Nothing totally extreme but a room suited for watching tv and movies but yet still able to use for entertaining or my son and his friends to use. So now the LED tv would finish that room.
Those are my first two possiblities.

The newest Samsung LED are amazing. 1/3" thick. Hang like a picture. Remote even has a tv on it so you can take it with you to the can and not miss a thing. Like $5-6k but awesome.

I have a 46" Samsung LED and LOVE IT. Wish I would have gone with a 55" though. Whoever mentioned watching Avatar on Blu-Ray...that TOTALLY shows off the tv's true capabilities. For kids movies, the Tim Burton flick 9 looks pretty awesome too.
