The company I work for has an annual awards banquet/Christmas party every year in December.

Since I'm on the planning committee I'm wondering if anyone has any fun/different entertainment ideas you've experienced at your company parties without breaking the bank?
Theme party/ Vegas, beach party etc? Comedian?
It's a mixed age group of current employees to a few retiree's, about 100 people total.

We're hoping to draw more people in who don't usually attend
In the past we usually have a DJ and door prizes.

those hypnotist guys can be pretty fun. Jeni's work had one one year and we were all cracking up laughing

we had a hypnotist guy, and yeah extremely funny as long as he doesn't ask you to talk about the boss....

the vegas stuff has always been fun. just won more tickets to put into a raffle.

I've heard of a traveling dinner theatre thing that does murder mysteries in a banquet type set up. Every guest is part of the act.

We had them for another event. Word is they do pretty much the same bit for company parties. Funny but like a re-run

My work always has the casino night stuff, or so I'm told. Not big on attending company parties. I have a hard enough time coming in when they are paying me.

Seriously though, my wife puts a giant convention on each year and help schedule the entertainment, she could be of use....let me rephrase that....

Casino Night are pretty good ... I do the black jack/craps dealer for someone in Milw... there alot of fun .....

casino theme is great. we did it one year. everyone gets the same amount of fake money to start with. at the end the top 3 people with the most amount got a prize. first place was a 37" flat screen.
