My buddy just called me about his sons explorer. He told me it has fuel and spark but just cranks and cranks. Any quick thoughts on things to check?

Even though ya got Fuel pressure. Put a gauge on it. Sold alot of FP regs when I worked at the zone for those things.

Fuel and spark but no start? Your 100% it has spark?

Alright I went to look at it. It's not the 5.0 but it's a SOHC 4.0 V6. Pulled the timing cover and the front chain broke as well as the smaller one that goes towards the passenger side. Fun stuff......
