Seeing if any one working at a gm dealer ship can get me this gear marking paint? The GM part number is 1052351. i'll need it for when i get my diff close to back together. let me know if you can get ot or have some i'll come pick it up. thanks

Isn't that the same stuff as prussian blue that you can get for cheap at an napa?

goto parts store u just need a gear marking compound it doesn't have to be gm to see if ur making cigars

I don't think we have it at work. i've tried looking around aparently i dont' know exactly what i'm looking for. i figured someone else had to have it but i was told that a gm dealer should have some for shure

Thanks for the help guys. The shim kit i got acually came with the marking compound. so i'm a happy man right now. got plans for the next two days tho so i'll get to it maybe sunday and monday night after work :alcoholic:alcoholic

My cousin works at a dealership and they use 3M white lithium grease for setting up gears.

Russ Darrow Cadillac in Waukesha shows some in stock, give them a call. List price is about $11, if you really want it that bad.
