Seriously... it's amazing the type of people they interview.

So FOX6 does a story on all the food stamp fraud going down. About the possibility of people just showing up because they advertised the application for the food stamps. SO they interview all these people who are like, "well so and so called me and said they were giving away free stuff so we came down".

So they really didn't need it, they just want in on the free stuff...

Then the best thing happened. They interview some dude in a wife beater and the bandana complaining about how he lost EVERYTHING...

you know, "i lost my other food stamps, i lost my fernature, all my tv's, and my compreter"

I nearly lost it laughing. You have MULTIPLE tv's but yet you need some food stamps? Maybe your financial priorities need to be rearranged a bit.

All of this because of the flooding. Brings out the best in people... It takes away from thoee that truly need it

I was thinking that was the majority of what was happening at those "handouts".

The people ripping off the system should be escorted to another line for a "free tv". Which is really a tent over by that big sink hole. They walk in, get shot in the head, and then kicked into the sinkhole. We should have that thing filled up in 30 minutes.

And while we're at it. All these people who can't find a job after 2 years, they should be put to work helping do all this cleanup that needs to be done around the city. That way they are earning money, AND shit is getting done. 2 birds, 1 stone.

Maybe its not food stamps or TV's but I bet the same could be said for alot of the people on this forum! Or car junkies in general. I cant count how many people I know that have depreciating items/toys up the wazoo but still live In apartments/in there parents home or just scrape by to survive so that they can own a car that can only be driven 7 months of the year. Its really rediculous. Whats the point of living like a homeless sack of shit just to have a fun toy, kinda ass backwards. Kinda off the topic I guess but just got me thinking about people with fucked up priorities!

I saw the same story. I wanted to vomit. I loved all of the people in 'severe' need of food standing in line talking on their cell phones and smoking cigarettes.

When they asked one lady what kind of stuff she needed from the handouts, she replied:
"I dunno, anythang they be givin away."

I feel bad for the people who really need this shit. It breaks my heart to think that there are people out there who haven't eaten in days but yet their biggest worry is how they are going to feed their kids tomorrow or if tomorrow will be the last day with a roof over their heads. And then,to see this shit on the news.... makes me want to start snapping necks.

Most people that say yes to interviews are retarded, who would want to be on ANY of the local news channels for anything? Not I, I turned down that opportunity 3 times when neighbors house got jacked.
