was crazy out here for a while. i lost the battle to take down the tent in my backyard...lol but i did get my patio furniture and hanging plants down in time. sirens were going off a little while ago and my entire backyard has about 2-3" of standing water which has NEVER happened. the best part was leaving my car outside and the clogged cutter on the backside of the house.

The water got to as deep as half-way up to the window in jeeps in front of the house. The drainage basin is about almost crested the basin edge, which would have been devastating.

Drove the jeep out and about...as stated, this is how we new the deep it got on our street, lol. Went slow so as not to wash wake into peoples home, lol.

Did try to get to mcd's...and was successful too...but it became apparent that the water had gotten much deeper, so I just parked it where I was and ran home.

I did watch a little sentra push through one puddle I didn't (totally amazed!), but the next, shallower puddles it was stuck, probably hydrolocked.

LOL! A picture of my jeep parked (with the water rising!) was just on chan 4! They must have taken vid right after I ran through, as I saw the two other jeeps in the footage from before.

I'm actually doing some HVAC work at South Shore MMSD in Oak Creek. It's pretty sick..... but what else are they supposed to do? Look at how much flooding occurs even with the gates WIDE open. Just imagine what would happen if they slowed the flow down coming into the facilities so they could treat the water.
