agreed. he did paint his taillights. I say get a new set of unpainted tails, pay the fine and stfu. Then if he gets a ticket, he has a big case on his hands. Until then, he modified them even if ever so slightly, still modded. Taking pics from a brochure was dumb as you could probably tell just be comparing his to the brochure that they were painted.

Also, he wasn't cited for tinted tails. he was cited because the officer didn't feel that enough red was showing. The owner of the car hasn't modified the red reflector in any way.

sorry but when you read the replies further down to each post you also read that he modded his tails with leds not to mention some painting and then removed his posts from the G8 forums. IMO, he's full of shit about what he had done otherwise he would have proudly posted the pics of the ACTUAL tails in his defense. This is just like a no front plate ticket in states that require them. shit in some states, if your car is lowered anything from stock, you get a ticket. again, I say pay the fine, put the stockers in and stfu next time he gets pulled over.
