Tried it on my relatively dirty, 12 year old truck. My fender is shiny as hell, did my windshield with it as well so we'll see how it handles the rain. Feels almost like rain-x on there now.

Just did the wifes car, 2005 Honda Odyssey, washed first, then applied Prolong, seems to be a really good product! i noticed after wiping the car down which sections were Prolonged, and which were not, sections that were prolonged were very smooth like a good wax job!

Now need to see it in the sun!

So far, seems like a great deal!!

I washed it just to be on the safe side. My luck with cars lately has been REALLY bad, the last thing I need now is to scratch the car on some untested product.

I ran over something on 94 E with the Denali, ripped off a wiring harness and destroyed some wiring--$2000 damage and car has been in the shop for a week!

My Mazda was very dirty, so washed it first before using.

I give it an 8.5 out of 10. Great product!!

Going to try it on my "dirty" 240 later.

eh i tried it on the spoiler it had water spots from the damn sprinklers at work and dust from sitting in the garage for 2 days. and you can still see the water spots but cleaned everything else good.
it goes on like a quick detailer and comes off harder than one. i don't care for it,and will put it out at the rummage sale when we have one.

ok tried out AS instructed...that means no wash prior to using it(kinda defeats the point) and in direct sunlight. I used it on a car thats been sitting unwashed in the sun for the past 5 months. my assessment,
1.sprays nice and clings very good because of how thick it is. not to mention it is rather precise in spraying if you are trying to spray in a certain spot.
2.the finish was EXACTLY the same as both meguirs and mother's but not as good as the poorboy's QD.
3.very easy to remove with less buffing comparatively but still needed 2 microfibers(1 to spray and 1 to remove/buff)
considering it was free, I will use it again and for a daily driver I would probably keep a bottle on hand for in between hand washings.

Takes off bugs, and crap BETTER than my Mequiers detailer. And leaves no streaks.
