So, I accepted an offer with Chase Bank as a Personal Banker and recently sold my TL to my buddy while I was still at the dealership because business was slow. Anyways, decided to get another truck this time around, and was looking at Tahoes, Grand Cherokees, and the like. Came across this 2004 and couldn't pass it up. Miles are up there, but it's a one owner, all hwy miles as he was a OTR Salesman. Super clean, well maintained, and purchased for a STEAL!
Enjoy! Winter drags here I come again!

awesome pick up John!
don't be scared of the mileage!! haha. i started looking at those too since they seem to be dirt cheap in the little bit higher mileage area.
more importantly, great job on getting out of the car business! I started as a Project Manager Intern at a construction company recently and am LOVING it. So much better and such a good decision. You'll love it too.

A vehicle like that would be so handy! Let me know when you come across your next "great deal" vehicle and want to part ways with it. I'll look forward to hearing from you in a couple weeks. :goof
Very nice though!

What are the headaches of the car business if you don't mind me asking?
johnny--2k
07-12-2010, 11:22 PM
the constant up and down, the drama between sales people stealing each others customers and sales, the lack of communication in most dealerships, etc...it's a neverending circle of BS.
can i ask what you paid for it? very nice looking Denali!!! I LOVE THEM!!!

dude, don't even get me started, hahaha. I could write pages....
Most important. When everyone's payplan is set up to be the opposite of the next person's, it causes issues because everyone's looking out for themselves(which is fine, but the payplans are setup that way for a reason)
Most importantly, no accountability on the lower level people because they are cheap employment. The sales managers/finance managers are the ones to go since we make the most, but are only as good as how close the salespeople follow their specific process.
