damn i was thinking about goin but after one pass im done as i dont have a helmet...this would be the first time since i got my trans built i hope to be low 13s high 12s, thats if i can get it to hook with 4wd launches

i could bring a spare helmet you got a big head? i'm bringin a one for me one for my buddy since he thinks he might hit 13's but i'm thikin his trucks gana be mid 14's and i've got one more not getting used. My lower control arms are set. backed the shocks down a little in the back. and the stock tires are back on i'm set to go. just need to bring my air pressure gauge to drop the psi when i get there.

You will have no issue hooking up on a prepped track in 4wd... If anything your going to bend your tie rods (even aftermarket, ive done it) or snap a half shaft... Good news is, its cheap shit that breaks usually! Good luck, cant wait to hear how it does. :thumbsup

13.28@100.99 nothing broke aside from i stripped out another bolt on one of my spring clamps...as for bending tie rods not happening on my truck i don't have sleeves, i have the full heim joint cognito kit 1 inch rod 3/16 wall and like 1/2 heim joints...tried to launch on 2wd once just to see and the black smoke and white rolling off tires was cool looking managed to run a 17.4@97 mph that time...think its time to go with efi live though and sell my ppe, i want to hit the 12s and am so close it should be no problem

Well the SHO didn't break. Every run was a bit faster. 60' were not spectacular.

But I had fun! Big thanks to Jim for talking me into it and Murray for the advice/support and picking up Adam on his way down. Everyone at the track was very nice and understanding, like my first time when I went a bit too far on the staging lane. :goof

I was pretty impressed with the Diesel guys. Its amazing how lightly modded some of those trucks are and what times they were turning! :thumbsup

Dont believe the hype, those cognito ones are the same ones I had... Now I have home made ones that are made of better materials. Sounds like you had decent run though. For a handheld tuned truck, 13's is nothing to shake a stick at. :thumbsup

well there 2 years old and been plowed with, truck pulled, drag raced, and are still straight and no play in heim joints so im happy with em. and 13.2 at 7500lbs. that better be a big stick. it will only get faster from here.

4:11 gears and tom getting the car tuned up nicely and it went the same as it was untuned and stock gears. i fought wheel hop all night tho on street tires. i was also stock ride height back the last time i ran and it was cooler in the fall. i do believe i ran the tauras i waved at you wen you pulled up behind me originaly but you must not have seen my hand. i some how not quite shure what happend wen i ran you it was all a blur you may have beat me :goof

I had a blast the other night. The truck was extremely consitant running 16.2 @ 82 on all 3 runs. :rolf Jim your car is wikked crazy and a lot of fun to watch. DRTMFF!!!
