Israel has not forgotten the lessons learned from 1973. The employment of AT-3 and others by Egypt was a rude awakening for the Israeli armored corps. Israel has been on forefront of active and passive systems for defeating anti-tank guided missiles and unguided anti-tank muntitions since. It was required of them to do so.
