Anyone know a good way to get rid of a mattress and box spring? Anyone have a bonfire?

If it's in "decent" shape, why not donate it to goodwill?

I know Veolia will take mattresses, but I believe it is a $75 fee. You may want to look into the bonfire route.

Put it on Craig's List in the free section of the for sale/wanted, somebody will take it.

Veolia picks them up for free, but you have to call and find out what day they pick them up.
