Like the title says I'm looking for 05 aspen white or WRB STi preferably under 60k on the clock and spending a max of 18.5k. I've been looking around but everything for sale seems like it has been beat to death. I'm eyeing up a Florida car but really not too keen on buying sight unseen.

Also looking for a private seller who has the car well documented and maintained. I've been looking around on Nasioc and my price is definitely able to pick up a nice STi, they are just all across the country.

So if anyone knows of any local please let me know

Nasioc for sure. Go get the car you like cuz there are a ton of TRUE Subaru enthusiasts on the boards there. Cars get pampered, proper maintenance etc

Go Evo all the way!!! If you will be modding it the evo will make way more power for the money. Mine was running 12.1's on the stock turbo, cams and intercooler. Bolt ons and E85, 345 whp 370 ft-lbs... I really miss that car...

BTW, i was in the same boat about 2 years ago. I had to go to chicago to even find any sti's, and those were beat to shit with like 30-40k miles on them. Thats when i just gave up on even test driving a sti and i snatched up the evo bone stock with 24k on the clock for 21.5k. They will all be driven hard most likely, it's a question of the proper maintenance being done really.

well problem with evos is the owners beat the SHIT out of them and they seem to think they're gold or something evo 9s are going for 25k

I have a 100% buyer of the car cheaper then I wanted to let it go for, but will only let it go if I find the right STi

Eh they are all the same. You have to pay to get one that's clean. They are out there though. These types of cars also require a lot of maintanance so be prepaired for that. Fluid changes, clutch, brakes...

no offense, but a high percentage of STI's will be in the same ship.

if you end up buying one, I have a friend with a whole bunch of stuff stripped from his STI when he traded it in.
I know he for sure has another turbo, a full sti block with wiseco pistons, some custom interior stuff etc.

But you can find them 1 owner well maintained and stock. Like the one I found in Florida
