Has anyone here used either the Pachmayer Vindicator or the SpeedFeed "chicken head " or "witness protection" style grips?

I'm looking to order a set of PG for my 870, while making it my home defense gun.

Any "pistol grips suck" comments may piss off. :chair:

i never shot a shotgun without a stock. but this is what i have on my 870 and really like the feel of the pistol grip and the recoil reduction really works. its the BlackHawk SpecOps stock

is that stock fully collapsable? (sp)

My interest in the pistol-grip-only config stems from the desire to easily store and transport it. I have heard some folks refer it it as a "truck gun" for the ease of mobility in a cut-down (legally) short handled shotgun.

I think that stock is just Adjustable. Are you looking for a folding stock to go with the pistol grips. I think I have seen something like that out there but dont remember what site I saw it on or if it was a gun magazine.

I have a folding one, a tube extender, and a 20" barrel for my 870. I use it for nuisance extermination when I don't feel like running around with the .22. It helps, especially when in confined spaces when it's hard to get a good swing.
