I know this is a long shot, but I need to replace the front springs / struts on a 99 Grand Am. Don't need anything special, it's a 10 year old car we'd like to keep functioning until my girl graduates in a couple years. I hoping to find someone who's dropped their car and maybe kept the original stuff on a shelf in the garage. Ideally I'd like a pair of front assemblies, but if anyone has springs or struts themselves I could scrap together the rest and get it together.

If anyone has any leads, they would be greatly appreciated.

In case you're wondering, my girl hopped in her car this afternoon and felt it was sitting kinda crooked. She tries to back the car up, and it makes a horrible crunching noise. She parks it, and leaves it, and gives me a call. Upon further inspection this evening, I've discovered that one of the front springs snapped, fell down, and is a mess. Somehow this happened in the night with no one driving it, otherwise this could have been a much bigger problem/accident had it fallen apart on the highway.

I have a feeling those wouldn't fit.

99 was the first year they started looking like this

97 is the earlier looking body style.
