Tomorrow morning we are going to the hospital for a planned c-section.

One of the twins has been breach for the majority of the pregnancy and just refused to move. So the Dr. scheduled a c-section for the 24th.

So far everything has gone "text book" with the pregnancy for twins so we are praying that everything continues to go that way.

Im scared, nervous and excited all at the same time! Im kinda thinking Im the one who will need to be wearing a diaper when it all goes down. I think there is a good chance I will shit myself!! :wooo

Needless to say I don't think either of us will get any sleep tonight.

Wish us luck!

Nick S.

don't mean to scare you, but there is nothing text-book about a c-section. A lot of people think it's a quick and easy operation, but it's major surgery. I was in the room with my wife when she had c-sections with 2 of our kids...one word of wisdom from someone who's been there........DON'T LOOK! Take a quick peek over the curtain, but don't get too curious.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Both of ours were born through c-sections. When our first was born, he was suctioned in there pretty good. First was the sound much like a suction cup releasing, then a squirt of blood shot over the curtain and onto the anaesthesiologist :rolf Him : "YOU GOT ME!!!". You wouldn't believe how far open they stretch those stomach muscles. :stare Pretty weird seeing your wife cut open like that.
C-section also means a longer stay in the hospital.
