Just no more power outages. Friday sucked enough for a while, and I wasn't able to pick up a generator today.

I was thinking cool. But after seeing Tornado warnings I am getting a little worried about the truck being outside. I guess that is the down side of living in an apartment.

Just rolled thru Madison. 100% weak sauce I'm very disappointed, maybe it will open more on the way to Milwaukee.

Eagle is a mess right now, all power is off to the town. Multiple houses are destroyed. They struck a box alarm for "life safety" and requested any available EMS personal in the county to come help. We have one ambulance there now..... as for our town... there are plenty of trees and wires down, multiple roads are completely blocked by larger trees.

If I had a decent trailer and a winch, I'd take my chainsaw and roll through the affected areas and try to get my hands on a nice walnut log.

I live right between North Prarie and Eagle off HWY E. I was pretty concerned for a while there...lol. My wife and I were sitting in the basement with the kids for a good hour. Our power came back on a around 5 a.m. which is actually a lot sooner than I was expecting. We got pretty lucky. Seems like everything went just north to North Prarie or just south to Eagle.

Just drove around through Eagle with the wife and kids. I have never seen anything like that in 'real time' before. HWY NN between 67 and LO is completely blocked, tree clutter about 20' high. You can't even see anything through all the debris. Looks like the tornado touched down on around hwy s (between hwy 67 & hwy 59) and worked it's way east to around hwy E.
If you drive on HWY S and look east you can see the trees at old world wisconsin completely mowed down. Looks like somebody took a giant hand and wiped them over.

I feel lucky that my house isn't completely destroyed. There is a lot of damage and I'll need to move out for probably 2-3 months. I am alive and so are all of my neighbors.

I think the car is ok. I haven't been able to pull it out of the garage to really look. My house is next door to the house on the front page of the J/S. I just want to get it out to a safe place before my house starts getting cleaned. One thing and one day at a time. Maybe I can post some pic when I'm settled.

I live in Muskego, just off of Racine ave and north of Janesville. We got hit pretty hard. Thankfully nothing like what Eagle suffered, but the destruction around here is amazing. I just got power at around 4:30 am. BTW big thumbs up to WE workers. I couldn't beleive they were working that late and even more so in the storm this morning. They were erecting a new pole at the end of my road at like 1am.

I didn't suffer any structural damage except maybe to my shed, have to get a tree off it to find out. But lost 2 of the 3 trees in my yard. And my gazebo was destroyed. Thankfully the bar survived. Every single house in the neighborhood lost alot of their big trees, either by being snapped in half, or uprooted. Going to be real different looking in a couple weeks as shit gets cleared out.

I hear ya about the trees. My neighborhood is only 14 years old. Finally everyones trees were getting to be beautiful and big, now they are up rooted or snapped. Insurance hardly pays for trees. I had a beatiful tree in my front yard that was $500 14 years ago and now they say they'll pay $250 a tree. That kind of breaks my heart to know.

The drive to my house is also changed because it a tree lined street. It was like driving through a tunnel and was awesome to look at in fall. Now most all of those trees are gone. These things seem to hurt more than losing some of my possesions.
