Is that yours, Jesse?

no, that's one of the CobraAutomotive projects, mine needed far less extensive work

nice! Cool ass picture, though! I'm so happy my new car only needs a fender an a lil bit of bondo.

There is no such thing as "rust spots getting fixed with out new metal."

Just "rust spots being what I thought was fixed and covered up for a period of time. I'll probably see it again in a year or 2 or even way less if I don't know what I am doing"

New metal is the only way to for sure kill rust.

Lord knows I have removed filler over bondo over rust. It does take much just a small tap of a hammer.

Their is a reason why its called Cancer. If you miss one spot it will come back stronger than it was before. Get a welder and get to patching.

I assume you mean more along the lines of "cars getting patch panels instead of full replacement sheetmetal" which is what I would call a proper "repair". Just rust converter and filler won't be enough.

And I have a final shot with the bodywork done but its not in my photobucket account yet.

Sometimes its easier to just replace the body panel like a fender.
