I spent my birthday today at the Nationwide race. I must admit, I had high expectations going into the event, and for the most part they were completely met. My only real complaint is that no pit passes were issued whatsoever. The American Le Mans Series really spoils you with their wide open paddock. The highlight of the day was getting to see Carl Edwards hoist the trophy since it was made at the shop where my Dad works.
