Am I the only one who remembers these?

I remember going to cancun back in the mid 90's and riding and seeing 100's of these weird outboard jet ski type boats. They had like a 30hp outboard (with prop), yet handle bars, and you rode it like a motorcycle (one person behind the other). They were more stable then a normal jet ski, and not really tip-able. Your feet got a little wet, as did you from spray. They went maybe 35-45 mph.

Everyone I talk to, thinks I am crazy... Most likely, I am.

never seen one before...just the old stan-ups and the 2 person jet boats....cool plans out there to build one of those tho...i wonder how much of the hull would come out of water with a 100 horse out back lol

I've seen a couple things like that on the lakes in FL growing up...also remember the little boat kits you could make and stick like a 15hp engine on, and you could got 30mph on them...

I seem to also remember the old ones that looked like motorcycles...rose up out of the water on a hydrofoil/skid plate type thing....any one recall those?

Weird because I just seen a flat bed with maybe 6 or so on them, all faded white with no motors on it.....

broke a rod in my 1100 It let go at idle. I got a new crank and rods on da way though.
the wet bikes I almost bought 2 this spring for 900 bux. they are slow but fun I guess
