Dark Times

Well I have been down in Vegas these last two weeks because my dad went in for surgery to remove a tumor in his colon. Surgery went well but it was recently discovered that the Cancer didn't originate in the Colon. He has had Prostate cancer, and bladder cancer in the past. They just told us that they have done further testing and as a result he has stage 4 cancer. For those that don't know that means that it is not curable and as of right now the prognosis is that he has 4-6 months left to live. He could do Chemo but it may only increase that time by 2-3 months and we aren't sure what his quality of life would be if he went through the chemo. Still waiting to talk to the Oncologist about his cancer to get more information. I will try and keep you guys posted when I can.

He had prostate cancer about 5 years ago and beat it, but this cancer is more or less spread throughout his body. Waiting for him to get out of the hospital and talk to the Docs to see what is going to happen from here on out

yikes man, super sorry to hear, that is what happened to my grandfather 2 years ago, cancer just spread all over. ITs been really crappy past week or so with my mom passing and now hearing about this.
