Rockford air show * Anyone attend it *

Seeing as I was on the beach Saturday and the planes were grounded because of safety I'm thinking about heading to Rockford Air Show.....

I have heard its one hell of a time, has anyone attended it ?

I was going to go to the MKE air show Sunday but since I live 7 houses from the runway I had it right in my backyard. Saw the Blue Angels, F-22, a few C-130s, and the new cargo jet.

We usually take our jet to the Rockford air show. A great time. Lots of flying displays. both military and civilian performers. They also have the flightline open to the public so you can get up close to most of the planes that are there. Not to mention, the after show parties for the participants are totally kick ass

KC-135. Looking at the shedule, I do not see us slated to go to Rockford. We did the Janesville show last month and looks like we are going to EAA this year.

So you see them take off do there stunts and land..........
