Interesting find! Safety award given to Chevrolet as noted on the box. The car shown is a 1961....probably a kit sold through dealers around 1960-61 if I had to guess. Detroit used to put the newest model on marketing materials etc to stimulate sales when the new model was released. Any shots of the contents? How much did you buy it for?

Probably a kit given to service people in the dealership for going without an injury for the year. When I drove school bus, we got stuff for being accident free like that.

To be honest with you I haven't even looked around to see what its worth or what car it belongs to if any. I might sit down and do a little research tonight.

I would have bought Nate's easily for that much money even though it was missing some parts. if it isnt opened for display the case alone is in much better shape.

Ive got an old first aid kit from the 1950s in the barn. I can go stock it if that seems to be an issue. :D

There is a 60s impala down the road from me. I might have to make it a complete set.
