I would really like conceal carry, open carry is just ridiculous, people get nervous with guns in sight, too much attention. I hope a republican can get in as a governor in this blue state.

Well welcome to the site. The unfortinate thing is that it wont happen untill we get a different governor. Untill then keep it on your hip instead of tucked away so you dont get in trouble with the law.

lol @ post whoring

At least it's a good conversation topic vs trolling like some other post whores do.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a R gov as well. I don't open carry, but I sure as hell will conceal when it finally passes.

I have to agree with you on all 3 points you made.

I highly recommend anyone serious interested in conceal carry take the Bender/PPA class posted elsewhere in this section.

The class was awesome and he doles out some great info and statistics about concealed carry, as well as covering all the responsibilities that come with it. It was a great class, well worth the money, and you come out of it with a Utah permit good in 39 states hopefully ours some day. Even if the Utah permit is never accepted here, I felt the class was extremely worthwhile just from an information and training standpoint.
