It's time to replace the top on my '03 Mustang. Can anyone recommend a good shop to do the work? Or, do you know anyone I should avoid?

I'd appreciate any help you could offer.
Thanks for your time.

Whenever we need soft top work done on a Convertible, we always send it out to Ericksons auto trim in Racine.

Get a cloth top instead of vinyl. It's a world of difference.

Oh and there's Erickson in Racine, or the Custom Top Shop in Butler. I've seen good work come out of both places.

We sublet a lot of work to Eriksons as well. They do great work, but I've never seen convertible top work done by them.

Buy yourself the replacement top for an 03/04 Cobra. The factory tops were not only cloth, but the same material they use on Jaguar drop-tops. Very nice quality.

Custom Top Shop in Butler.

Is that the place a few blocks from Behlings? If so, I reccomend it.

Custom Top Shop in Butler. That guy went out of his way to help fix the top on my old convertible.

The dealer I work at sends a lot of stuff to either Ericksons or Edlow's (sp). Alot of older Miata tops get sent out. And I also recommend going the cloth top route. Way better looks and performance. The new MX-5's I work on come with either choice and the cloth tops are far easier to open and close. Especially when the weather gets cooler in the fall. I figure its a power top in your car, but it may put less stress on your workin conv't mechanisms, longer life etc........

Ace auto trim up in West Bend does pretty good work too.
