I thought the original mortal kombat wasn't the worst...it was what it was, a ridiculous fight movie based on a game.

Here's the thing...many of these "reboots" have seemed much better than the original...from superman, the incredible hulk, batman, etc...a re-imagined mortal kombat could be the same...it has enough of a mythology to mix in with the generic fight movie recipe to be decent....

I liked the first MK movie. Actually I think it's probably the best video game movie. Good action, couple hot chics, kickass soundtrack. Was faithful to the game.

The first Mortal Kombat was good, the 2nd sucked donkey cock. This one doesn't look too bad and I would think with Micheal Jai White (Jacks) and Jeri Ryan (Sonya) in the trailer, someone's pretty serious about making it.
