150mph is CRAZY fast for a high 9, serious traction issues or it is pulling twice the HP as first half of 1/4. Manuals always trap faster but 150 is my target with an auto to dip in 8's!

aiming for mid 9s @ 155mph.

At 155mph he should be aiming for high 8's! Seriously power to weight the car would have to weigh over 2600 and a stick to trap 150 and not dip DEEP in the 9's FWD or not. I have FWD friends who run 9's and 10's who rarely got over 140mph at best in stick cars, 130mph 9's in automatics. If he can get the car to pull before the 330' mark it is gonna be impressive to say the least. If IDW is Sunday Im coming down to watch (work sat), hopin for the best for him either way, car is impressive from my point of view.

Putting the power to the ground vs late power band (manual trans), a friend of ours with no traction and a powerband that hits at 3/4 track, Stephanes 2.2 ltr FWD 2100# car....stupid fast MPH with weak but winning ET.

I was in Topeka that day, the factory backed Cox SRT4 never made a full pull against the 1992 iron blocked and home built cobble mobile in video :)

That is an extreme example of MPH, obvious traction issues net HUGE mph and low ET for the power.

Its been a long time since I've seen Waldo..... the last time may have been when I had the GTO dynoed at Beeyond... That civic is a bit faster then that Swift he had. ;)
