WMIL does indeed over play certain artists. Even the GF wants to puke listening to a Danny Gokey song every hour. I was big into classic rock, but I lean now to 60s 50s rock and some older soul music and I am leaning to a bit more modern Rockabilly like you would hear at the Hunnert car Pileup kind if events. Anything obscure or not over played I like.

I listened this morning and hope they stick with only classic country music. I do not care for newer 'country' music (which is more pop than country) but could listen to the 'old stuff' all day long.....

The last time I intentionally listened to 106.9 was when it was "The Point." I think I was a freshman at the time and they could not get enough of Smash Mouth.

I tuned to 106.9 today and they played a song I never heard before. I will tune in more before I make up my mind on this station.
