NASCAR returns with the Nationwide cars, ready to shake things up on their schedule's longest road circuit! It will be an incredible show of hot competition as America's racing heroes tackle sharp turns, dramatic elevation changes and fast passing areas. Big screens, fan activities and great support races including SCCA Pro-Racing's Trans-Am and MX-5 Series, and Mid-American Stock Series.

This should be very cool, unfortunately I can't make it up there. I'm not much of a circle track fan so should be cool to see Nascar run at RA. I know the Sprint cup or whatever it's called this year races a couple road courses, I have no clue about the Nationwide series though. Is this the biggest road course they will run?

And just for the WTF factor, after watching that news cast above about the testing this is one of the videos youtube recommended.

Bucyrus and my Employer offered me to attend and be a their Security Supervisor with all passes and just want me to walk my happy ass around... But it's my weekend off and I'll be in the U.P. doing some fishing and getting my drink on...:headbang

Just an FYI - If you are still looking for tickets, Menards still has them at discounted prices ($45/Sat, & $79/4 day). Got my Saturday passes tonight.

No I wont be. But if you need extra spots just park by the 3 car. If I come home and see cars in the driveway its no biggie to me. I won some free tix from work but I gave them to a woman who was bitching about never winning tickets cause I dont really care if I go or not.:thumbsup

As for town your best bet is Antonios in Plymouth for skanks. Also Check out Elkhart brown bear and Seipkens for the hot girls.

I heard there were around 40,000 people; not as packed as the CART races used to be, but it was still the largest event at Road America this year, and the loudest, haha. It's the only race where the pits are blocked off(for the nationwide cars, other parts of the pits were open). I'm kind of glad Road America doesn't have garages, it's nice to be able to walk right up to the cars being worked on.

I like being able to walk around and watch the race from different parts of the track. One motor home on the backstraight had a large flatscreen, so that was nice.
