Computer doesnt play videos on websites

When I go on sites like Charter.net, TMZ, etc. my computer wont play any of the videos that are on the webpages. Youtube works fine, I downloaded the Flash player but still nothing. It doesnt matter if I use IE or Firefox. Whats the problem?

Quicktime maybe? If Youtube works fine, that's Flash, some sites use Quicktime, I'd say try (re)installing that.

Charter.net and TMZ.com both use flash video players on their web sites.

Try uninstalling Flash and re-installing. Adobe's site has instructions and a utility to uninstall Flash here (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html).

Tried the Java thing, still no good. Ben, all the porn is safe, I got it from Coop and his stuff still works.
