Well, actually I WAS wearing safety gear. I had a mask on, my regular glasses, my saftey glasses, AND a canvas hat on, and yet this bastard snuck by.

Your picture brings back a very painful memory for me. I was using an angle grinder with a wire wheel and a similar piece went through my shirt impaling my nipple. The piece was imbedded at least a .25 inch and I still have not recovered mentally.....:eek:

I've had a few run-ins with the wire wheel as it ejected projectile wires. I learned to pay close attention to the plane-of-rotation.

haha that would suck. It didn't hurt, I didn't even notice it till I was washing dust off of my hair and felt it stuck there.
Had some metal get into my eye while porting a manifold. Safety glasses don't cut it for that crap. I switched to goggles.
