2 weeks ago, she says, " Dad, i did something really bad".
yes!!! Dad, i hit the Big Green Dumpster at School.
She hit the Dumpster with the WHOLE side of the car!!!!!!!
front to back!!!!!!:wow

HOW in the world can you side swipe a dumpster, front to back????:confused

any way, i can fix that, i think.

two days ago, my daughter says, DAD, my RF tire is looking low, can you fill it up? SURE HONEY!!!!!!
i go to check the air pressure, ( 15psi), and i see the sidewall has a BIG GASH in it. WOW, this tire is Trash, and i JUST put brand new tires on this car!:eek:
Upon further inspection, i see the WHEEL IS MAJORLY DENTED IN.
she hit the curb so bad the Wheel is dented in.

So, Dad to Daughter, "Daughter, what happened here?", looking at the wheel. she says, IDK.

she does not even remember hitting the curb.

In reality good drivers pay attention to driving and their surroundings and it just seems men are better at it, lol. Although in my few years of driving I can't say I've had any similar mishaps, aside from a speeding ticket, and someone else totaling my car when I wasn't even it it, maybe driving a manual car all these years makes me pay attention. :durr

How about my wife taking off the side view mirror on the drivers side when backing up? I asked her how she could take a mirror off she should be using when she backs up? She said she doesn't ever use the side mirror, just the rear view! Wow, there is a reason why I call her Crash Bandicoot.

We've got two vehicles here. When we don't carpool to work we still have ~4 miles of travel time on the same route. When we do carpool she drops me off.

She can even talk on the phone and drive well, better than me I'd say. I can't talk on the phone and drive for shit. When she's got a passenger it's a miracle she stays between the lines and you don't get motion sickness.

Seen it all too with the daughter driving the family car.
LOTS of curb damaged cars lol.

Had a 07 STS with 2K in suspension damage. A 07 V 80 volvo with $3500 damage.
06 STI with $4800 in damage. Those are the ones lately that I can recall.
Seen lots of this stuff over the years. 1 rim your lucky Mike.

I backed up along my Grandma's garage 5 days after I got my car (I was 16). I was a little close and have a small crease in the passenger rear door of my car. I didn't notice until the edge of the garage was almost at my side mirror. :goof

I rolled another car (wasn't my car either - oops!) bein' all fast 'n furious around Holy Hill area. Again, when I was 16.

Yesterday across the street from me, a woman drove the front of her car over the edge of the retaining wall while pulling into a parking spot. Note that in order to do this she had to drive over about a 4" curb that is there to stop you from doing just that.
