...picked up a small project yesterday to keep me busy :)

1969 Olds Toronado.
Has a 455 in it - 375hp - 510ft lb torque, 3spd A/T, FWD.
Power everything, even the seats, has A/C.

It ran when parked in a barn 7yrs ago, also was a TN car, so that's a plus.
All body panels are straight, and there are NO dings/scratches at all.

Every piece of exterior trim was already off the car, which is why it looks so incomplete... saves me some time for sure.
Only thing it's missing are the keys lol.
Hidden headlights are baller.

Bad news is the interior seats/carpet/headliner are pretty much junk.
Small hole in the floor pan by the pedals. Smells like small vermin piss.
In the process of ripping out the interior, de-funkifying it.

Definitely not going to be a show car, but I could sell the engine for what I paid for the whole car... so it's win/win.

Very cool project....and nice clubsi reference, lol.

Want to consider a very cool idea?
910ci total, Twin engine, AWD Toronado (http://www.autoblog.com/2007/05/01/ebay-find-of-the-day-twin-engine-toronado/)

I'm pretty sure it was a toronado back in the day, but there used to be an exhibition racer who'd go around doing 4 wheel burnouts with his car at many of the southern tracks...wish I could remember the name so to search images, because there are some out there...

Can't wait to see it progress along :thumbsup

:D I knew you'd get that.

I saw that twin engine one while researching around the past few weeks, I don't think I'm /that/ ambitious though :goof
There definitely is plenty of room in that trunk, talk about dead hooker storage, damn.

just build that 455. You'll be glad you did! Those are killer cars. My grandpa used to LOVE Toronados. He had about 5 of them each cooler than the next. Ask here if you need anything and welcome to the old skool club!
