I need something that is about $1000.

I hope that is a typo... You won't find a 4th gen in ANY condition for that price...

Well, good luck in your search... If you can scrape a little more money together, mine is complete and you can have it for $15,995... :thumbsup

i bought my '94 v6 camaro for about that price. was in good condition. you can get an ok, high mileage car for about $3000 if you look carefully.

i'm really looking for something to fix for the girlfriend..."you have a summer car, why can't i?!" so i'm not really going for something fast, she just wants t tops, preferably auto but if need be she'll be learnin stick. it'll probably turn into my winter car...i wonder how bad they are in the snow.

i drove one alot in the snow back when i was a teenager, in fact i've never had a "winter" type vehicle until this year with my land rover. it ain't that bad if you take it easy and realize you need to go slow.

I had to drive my car the last 3 winters becuase I had nothing else to drive. There were some situations I refused to drive it in, but as the others have said, it also can be really fun as well.
