Looking to build my rear suspension

Just wondering what has worked well for you foxbody guys. I've heard good things about teamz and baseline anti-roll bars, I think I'm going with the Lakewood 40301 50/50 struts. Would the lowers need to be adjustable? I've heard sticking with the V8 springs with 1 coil off is the way to go? Torque box reinforcements- upper and lower recommended? Suggestions please!

definitely weld the lower boxes up.get some of the battlebox uppers they are really nice,and they also have them available with adjustment settings for cars with 9" rearends.
adjustable control arms are nice for squaring the car up.
teamz has some nice bolt in stuff.thats prob your best bet for the ARB
i would run 4 cyl rear springs or "coilover style" springs.

I'm going to have a set of single adjustable lower control arms available. They are UPR and do not have the plates for a stock sway bar. Only catch is they are out of a 00 GT so the bolt hole are going to be 14mm. You may have to open up your stock holes to make them work. They are solid bushing.

Definately brace up the upper torque boxes. Most kits consist of a 6x6 plate that is welded to the floor on the backside of the upper control arm bracket, and then another plate goes under the car inside the UCA bracket sandwiching it to the floor. Then a bolt goes throught the whole deal. I am pretty sure UPR sells this kit as well as plates to box in the lowers. For control arms Wolfe or Team Z seems to be the best, same for the anti-roll bar. Spring wise LX springs in general seem to work nicely, unless you want to go with coilovers.

Since you are under there, I would have the axle tubes welded on the 8.8. It's not a bad idea to invest in some bracing for it, also.

Thanks for the replies, I ended up going with a Teamz ARB, Strange 10-ways, upper/lower reinforcement plates. Still have to order control arms. The ARB looks absolutely top notch.. Thanks for the replies!

Looks good, would you do me a favor and measure those end plates on that ARB for me? Is it like 3" by 3" and 3/16" thick?

Not having a tape measure in the area, they look to be 3" x 4" x 1/8"ish.
