Trust me I by no means "hate" the new 5.0. I think it's a nice looking car in all aspects accept the new rear end. I'm simply trying to show that it's not all the great hype that it's been built up to. Who know maybe we'll see a ton of new videos of it smoking everything. Until then I've only seen kills. :thumbsup

B.S...You bag on Mustangs any chance you get. I can see why you like the SHO though as it looks a lot like your GTO and is about the same size. Also that SHO runs 12.5s so I'd say the Mustang is doing pretty well

Sho moves out real well but in all honesty in terms of horsepower that's a bone stock stang so I agree with DRK it actually did pretty well.

That is a safe assumption, possibly a couple tenths quicker depending on the tune. A member of SHOforum ran a few passes with a tune which was pushing the factory part's limits and was in the 12.teens.....

Pffft!!!!!!!!! Every thread that mentions the new 5.0 you poke your head in talking shit. And what's all this great hype? The motor details got leaked Christmas Eve, I think. Motortrend got their hands on one and gave use some numbers 6-8 weeks ago. They just started popping up at dealers a few weeks ago. And now they're running tens with random parts shops have laying around, no tune, and a stock air filter.


You keep popping up with these videos of modified cars beating stock Coyotes. NO SHIT LeMONT, YA BIG DUMMY!!!!

Nice, should be interesting to see what they do once they're available en masse. Admittedly I'm a GM guy, but if I were in the market for one of these 3 cars I'd be giving these some serious consideration.

Of all the vehicles I've owned, only one wasn't a GM, and that was a 86 Ford Ranger 4x4 with a lift and a carbed 302 back in the mid 90s. Had some fun with that thing.
