well my dad and i built a base with pre treated 2x4's and 3/4" plywood and put that on top of the pre made concrete support pier's that are meant for decks. i put those in the ground as far as needed to make sure that it was all level and square. just to build the base and make it level took us a good 8-9 hours. and then a week later when the weather was right we put up the shed. from the time i opened up the first box till everything was cleaned up it took us 6 hours..
it is a sun craft 10x12.5 vinyl shed. i added the flowers today. and plan on making some kind of ramp to get the lawn tractor in and out with ease and also doing some kind of landscaping around it to make it look nice.. just not sure what i want to do yet..

Thread rob -

I just put this up yesterday, Suncast 10x10. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for that 10x12.5? I got mine for $940, but it didn't come with the coppula on the roof that you have. Took 7 hours to build foundation and shed, but I have put on together 1 time before.

I also got corner storage shelves and some tool hooks for it.

I am the manager at the Ace in Fort Atkinson, I can get you a deal on corner shelves if you are interested. They also make a larger rack that hangs from the ceiling

That's the best shed I've ever seen, I'm going to steal it from you.

lol good luck. its held down with about 12-2 1/2" x 1/4" lag screws plus a good dozen or so of 2" wood screws. if you got 10 guys and picked up the whole wood platform with the shed still in 1 piece then maybe.. lol

05caddy what kind of deal we talking? for a couple cornor shelvs and some brackets for hanging shovels and shit? would it ship to my house or do i have to pick it up?

I can do 20% off shelves and stuff. But for that discount youd have to pick them up. I can't do discounts if they are bought online.

Nice Shed! I just finished building mine last weekend, got a metal 8x10 on craigslist new for 50 bucks and it took me about the same amount of time to build mine. I laid gravel, compacted it, and built a wood platform on top of it. Took about 4 hours to level and compact the ground and build the base, 6 hours to assemble the shed. Yours looks nicer

There was a shed thread awhile back... I can see you used those concrete blocks to get it off the ground. (I'm not sure if you were the one who asked before). Looks pretty good. I'm on the fence about the Vinyl look though.

My house until recently, had cedar siding, which I really liked. Now it has Fiber Cement Siding (AKA Hardie Board). Which is also a no-maintenance siding.

Nice i saw a show about that cement siding.. from what i saw it was very nice. and i wouldn't want to put it up. because it has to be perfect!
