This is probably a dumb question, but do any parts shops carry Speed Bleeders in stock? Anyone know? Anyone have opinions on them, yay or nay?

Thanks...

if you have to remove all the bleeders to put those in, why not just call a buddy and help you do it?? it might cost you a few beers to do that.

I thought about getting some. It's a pain for me to get help like that durring the week because I work second shift.

I've worked a decent system do do a one man bleed:

Gravity bleed until you get good flow. Close all the bleeders but one. Using a prybar and the seat, depress the pedal. Go close the bleeder. Rinse, repeat as necessary.

Also, if a guy was crafty he could make a power bleeder cheap. Some googling may reveal how to do this.

They are 100% awesome. The one I used presurizes the master so all you have to do is go to various corners and bleed until good. Just make sure you keep the fluid topped off in the master. It is without a doubt faster than have a friend there. Instead of pumping bleeding 3 or 4 times you crack the bleeder one time until its good. Head back to the MC refill, reattach the bleeder, and repeat.

Another option is using a vacuum bleeder.....

I built one of these last year to bleed my wifes brakes. I will never go back to a MityVac or speed bleeders again.
