For those that do not know what this is: It works like a radar detector, but detects the little police radios that cops wear. Their is an signal booster for the little radios mounted in the police car, and this detects that signal. Has 9 bar signal meter and detects up to 3 miles. So, you can know if the police are in the area AND hear what they are saying.
Production was BANNED and at one time it was illegal to have in a car. Extremely hard to find. This was the highest end model that had this special mode.
NOTE: Milwaukee Police have changed to a digital freq, so it no longer detects their radios. You can only listen, not locate. Should still work in other areas.
