Anyone seen them at local stores? Have not seen any lately. And would like to stock up. Always need them for camping. Things are harder and harder to find.. Would like to buy local before i head to ebay and buy bulk of them.

they are hard to find.... most places listed dont carry them anymore because they are 'dangerous'... most only have strike on box or 'safety' matches due to liability issues

It wasn't as impressive as I thought it would be, but it was pretty cool.

Just cut a about a 1/2 inch cut into the ball and carefully slide matches in there. I used only a few full matches to get it started, and then used just the match heads to fill up the rest. You have to make sure you don't force them in tho, or they will light. I threw it at board that tennis players use to practice on.

That reminds me of what me and my buddy did when we were like 13-14. Full tennis ball full of the tips only wrapped in duck tape. My friend actually threw it at another kid at the park. Luckily it missed him one hopped and exploded like 10ft from him in mid air. We did way to much dumbshit as teens.

I have nothing to add either other than sparkler bombs are awesome too! Can't wait until after July 4th for some closeout deals so I can make a couple mega ones to light off :headbang
