The grip on my tennis racket is completely worn to where I have a hard time maintaining a solid grip. I am looking for recommendations to have a new grip installed correctly and for a reasonable price.....

Go to dunhams or somewhere that sells them. Buy Gamma grip... install... enjoy.
*EDIT* it goes over your current grip.

B&G does a good job from what I've heard, at least with golf.
They have a couple locations http://www.bggolf.com/locatorBG.asp
Doubt it will be the cheapest, but I hear good things.

The suggestion is appreciated but I want a 'factory' style grip.....

For an entry level grip B&G charges $15, less than I assumed but the quality of the grip is unknown. I do not need a top of the line grip but want something decent which will last at least a few years.....

I always just re-gripped my own racket...
You can buy the new grip at most sports stores.

It's really not that hard, it's just a wrap grip, you just have to find some wrap that you like. I always liked the gamma (wrap) only because it was somewhat absorbent and the grip didn't get slippery. Every "factory" grip on any racket i ever had was a wrap grip that had it's own adhesive. Just wrap it up, cut the top and tape it off. It's not like a golf grip where it has to be pulled down over the end. In fact I can't believe they'd charge you $15 to wrap a fucking grip on the end of a racket lol.
*EDIT* This is even less involved than a good hockey stick taping.
I suppose if you somehow broke the core of the grip and needed that replaced it'd be a different thing but I am assumnig you just wanted the grip covering replaced.

$10 with your own string or 20 with mine.
