Cop makes a routine stop only to have the driver attempt to shoot him at point blank range. Dumbass's gun jammed at the first attempt saving the cop's life but he unloaded on the driver killing his dumbass.

It's never good to see someone die but I'm sorry that was awesome!!! The worthless trash got what the hell he deserved. I was wondering how long it was going to take for him to hit something. You could tell the guy was gone after the 5th shot when the car just kinda stayed at the same speed and went straight.

So they actually took the officer to trial over this or is this SOP???????

Also it says he died from a single gunshot wound.

"Witnesses testified that before the shootout with police that night, Davis told people he wanted to shoot an officer. Davis was also a registered violent offender."

So they actually took the officer to trial over this??????It's probably SOP to have an inquiry anytime an officer discharges a gun, much less kills someone.
Also it says he died from a single gunshot wound.
Which is why you keep shooting...and why in many instances several cops may unload 15-20 rounds on a single suspect, which some bleeding hearts deem "excessive" and as proof that cops are bloodthirsty bullies w/ gov't backing. They don't know what hit who and when....they just fall on back on training and empty their clips.

It was pretty far away at that point... I'm sure that Beretta 9mm isn't going to be the most accurate at that range.
