View Full Version : Can someone help me get a price for an evap canister solenoid?

Its a dealer only part from what I am encountering so can anyone on here hook me up on a price for this?

2004 Pontiac grand prix 3.4L non sc engine. its the fuel filler evap canister and solenoid. if possible separate prices for each part as I know the canister comes apart from the solenoid. Thnk you!:thumbsup

I know I paid $46 at the dealer for mine for the Impala, it's a GM, might be the same part, don't know how much they change for stuff like that.

LOL is everyone having problems with these? Mine went to hell a few weeks ago. I just tuned it to "no error reported". Much cheaper, at least in my case anyways. :goof

It is a pretty common part to fail, depending on where it is located. Mostly W bodies and C/K trucks have issues because they are more exposed to the elements, but I have replaced them on ALL kinds of cars. Lately I have been seeing more purge valves fail also, but they are usually cheaper and easier to replace.
