Put about 50 miles on it tonight. Feels great. Now I just gotta watch out for cops :3gears: :rolf Unfortunately my tach doesn't appear to have survived the 4-speed conversion. Its got power but the needle doesn't move. Figures, I spent an hour wiring it really nice only to start the car and see it dead :punch: I'll have to pull it out again and see if it can be fixed. Its a vintage RAC assembled in June 1965. But in the mean time, I plan to drive the ever living **** out of this car this week :)

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I went to pretty big lengths to get the right parts and to make everything look as stock & original as possible ;)

still just the 327. The 'new' motor will be a ways off yet. But lets just say getting this project done has me focused on the next :shades

Everything on that car looks so clean including that swap! It's gotta be a ton more fun with that 4 speed in it. Keep up the good work.

I'll get some new shots of the car. Haven't taken any this year so I will. Have really only had it out at night a few times so far since getting it done

alternator is in and checked out great. I'd recommend Billings alternator/starter to anyone needing good quality service.

I had the car out Mother's Day for an hour. So it runs and drives for now. New radiator (3rd one) ordered today. Should be here in a week with any luck.
