Not sure if this was posted here or not or where I saw it but does anyone have any experiance with these?

Seems like it would be a quick way to test a small sample of fuel. Now that spring is here all the E85 stations will be altering the ethanol content.

Anyone?

I think Im going to buy a half dozen of them, so if anyone wants one lemme know.

I can get my hands on these as we sell them through my work and they are half the height... They are useful for determining alky content in any fuel.

home brewing supply stores should have hydrometers in the 5-10 dollar price range that serve the same function

We have a fuel composition tester at work. It measures the ethanol content of a fuel sample using a meter set to Hz.

Better test the fuel, i tried calling around last spring to see when the stations would be switching over to the summer blend and they had no idea what i was talking about. From what i saw you can only get the true E85 for about 2-3 months in the summer in WI.
